An exhibition not to be missed! Presented by the Cowra Art Group Inc and hosted by the Cowra Regional Art Gallery, the Lachlan Valley Biennial Art Awards are open to regional artists living within 100 kilometres from Cowra, including Young, Boorowa, Grenfell, Parkes, Forbes, Bathurst, Orange and Canowindra.

The LVBAA is non-acquisitive and open to entries that are two dimensional artworks in any style or subject. Entries include painting, drawing, watercolour, printmaking, pastel, and mixed media (no photography). Participants have the opportunity to win a major prize of $4000. There will also be the Barbara Bennett Memorial People’s Choice Award of $1000 announced at the end of the exhibition.

Highly Commended: Waynes Miles, Flowers in a Glass Jar (after Olley), acrylic and enamel on plate glass
Highly Commended: Joel Tonks, Late Afternoon, Ophir, acrylic on canvas
